Only 20 minutes' drive away is Orkney's main town - Kirkwall, home to Britain's most northerly cathedral, the beautiful c900 year old St Magnus Cathedral. Drive over the WW2 Churchill Barriers to visit the famous Italian Chapel. Visit the Highland Park Distillery, or if gin is you're preferred tipple visit the Deerness Distillery to try the ever popular Sea Glass Gin.
